Zeus, King of the Gods: Your Favourite Book
ZEUS: KING OF THE GODS – YOUR FAVORITE BOOK
A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J Maas

I think if you scrolled through my Bookstagram, it would be somewhat clear that A Court of Mist and Fury (book 2 in the A Court of Thorns and Roses series) by Sarah J Maas is probably my all time favorite book.

Honestly Sarah’s writing is so beautiful and she has really set my standards very high for both fantasy books and fictional men. Rhysand in ACOMAF is just the BEST. I’ve read ACOMAF so many times and I will continue to re-read it because I love revisiting the story. I have an appreciation blog post for the ACOTAR series if you want to read more.

Hera, Queen of the Gods: A badass female character
HERA: QUEEN OF THE GODS – A BADASS FEMALE CHARACTER
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Jude from The Cruel Prince by Holly Black is probably the definition of a character who doesn’t take anyone’s crap. At first I wasn’t totally sure I’d like her, but oh man did she grown on me throughout the books. She’s fierce and so freaking strong. The things she did in The Wicked King (don’t worry, I won’t spoil anything) were honestly so impressive.

Janus, God of Beginnings: Your favourite debut(s)
JANUS: GOD OF BEGINNINGS – YOUR FAVORITE DEBUTS

I chose 3 debut novels cause I honestly couldn’t decide on just one. A Woman is No Man, Amy & Roger’s Epic Detour, and Throne of Glass are all great debut novels. I do have a review on A Woman is No Man on my blog.

I don’t know exactly how many debut novels I’ve read, but these are ones I gave 5 stars to. I definitely recommend you go and get these books! (p.s. that’s an affiliate link)

Athena, Goddess of Wisdom: Your favourite non-fiction book
ATHENA: GODDESS OF WISDOM – YOUR FAVORITE NON-FICITON BOOK

I honestly don’t have an answer for this prompt. I don’t read non-fiction very often.

Aphrodite, Goddess of Love: A book you adore and recommend everyone read
APHRODITE: GODDESS OF LOVE – A BOOK YOU ADORE AND RECOMMEND EVERYONE READ
To all the boys I've loved before by Jenny Han

To all the boys I’ve loved before by Jenny Han is ADORABLE. I think everyone needs to read it because it’s such a cute romance story.

Hades, God of the Underworld: An evil book you wish didn't exist
HADES: GOD OF THE UNDERWORLD – AN EVIL BOOK YOU WISH DIDN’T EXIST
The paperback box set of Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling

This might be a controversial answer, but the more I’ve learned about J.K. Rowling and her books, I low key wish Harry Potter didn’t exist. It’s racism and anti semitism are something I can’t ignore. I have read some of the books but I won’t be continuing with any of Rowling’s books in the future.

Poseidon, God of the Sea and Earthquakes: A beautiful and ground breaking book
POSEIDON: GOD OF THE SEA & EARTHQUAKES – A BEAUTIFUL AND GROUND BREAKING BOOK
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr

All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr is honestly an amazing book set during WW2. It follows a young, blind French girl and a young Nazi boy during the Nazi occupation of Paris. It may be fiction, but it was still a powerful story.

Apollo, God of the Arts: A beautiful book cover
APOLLO: GOD OF THE ARTS – A BEAUTIFUL BOOK COVER
I'll be the one by Lyla Lee

I don’t think I need to explain this one. I love the bright colors and the composition. This book cover really stands out to me as an aspiring designer.

Hypnos, God of Sleep: A book so boring you almost fell asleep
HYPNOS: GOD OF SLEEP – A BOOK SO BORING YOU ALMOST FELL ASLEEP
Ender's Game by Orson Scott Card

This book was a part of my curriculum back in middle school. I could not get into the story at all. It may have been because of the genre and the fact that I wasn’t into sci fi at the time, but I know I won’t be revisiting this book.

Hermes, Messenger of the Gods: A book you sped through
HERMES: MESSENGER OF THE GODS – A BOOK YOU SPED THROUGH
The Selection by Kiera Cass

I’m pretty sure I read the whole Selection Series by Kiera Cass in a few days. The books are light and fluffy so reading them honestly doesn’t seem to take a lot of time.

I tag anyone who wants to participate!

❤ Kimberly
